These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website located at RThindi.com (the "Website").

The Website is owned and operated by Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "TV-Novosti", a company incorporated under the laws of Russian Federation, with its registered office at Borovaya St. 3 bldg. 1, 111020, Moscow, Russia ("Operator"). Editorial responsibility for all news, opinion, analysis, and other editorial content published on the Website rests solely with Indifokus Media Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India, with its registered office at Plot no.15, 16, Express Corporate Park, Sector 16A, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India ("Publisher"). The Operator and the Publisher are separate legal persons.

For the purposes of applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Publisher is the entity responsible for the digital news and current affairs content made available on the Website.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

  • "We", "us", or "our" shall mean:
    • the Operator in relation to the Website's technical operation, hosting, design, administration, user accounts, payments, advertising, and other platform-related matters; and
    • the Publisher in relation to editorial content, journalistic output, corrections, and editorial standards.
  • "Content" shall mean all text, articles, headlines, images, graphics, audio, video, podcasts, interactive features, and other materials published on the Website.
  • "Editorial Content" shall mean Content that is created, selected, edited, or commissioned by or on behalf of the Publisher, including news, features, opinion pieces, analysis, and related editorial materials.

  • handling complaints and grievances relating to Editorial Content, in accordance with applicable law, including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and internal editorial policies.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as making the Operator responsible for editorial judgments, opinions, or Editorial Content, except to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as making the Publisher responsible for technical failures, hosting issues, platform functionality, or other non-editorial matters, except to the extent required by applicable law.

3. Use of the Website

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • use the Website in any manner that violates applicable law;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the Website;
  • attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Website;
  • copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit Content without the prior written consent of the relevant rights holder;
  • upload, submit, or transmit any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, misleading, or otherwise objectionable material.

6.1. Commenting access

The Website may allow Users to post comments in designated areas of the Website. To post a comment, a User must authenticate through a supported third-party sign-in service, which may include Google or Telegram.

The information received depends on the relevant provider, the permissions granted by you, and your account settings. We do not receive or store your password for the third-party account.

The use of Google, Telegram, or any other third-party authentication service is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy. The processing of personal data in connection with the commenting function is further described in the Privacy Policy.

6.3. Public nature of comments

Comments and associated publicly displayed profile information, including your display name, username, profile image, and the date and time of posting, may be visible to other users and to the public.

You are solely responsible for the content of your comments and for any personal data or other information that you choose to disclose. You must not include confidential information, passwords, sensitive personal data, or another person's personal data in a comment unless you have a lawful basis to do so.

6.4. Prohibited comments

You must not post, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available any comment or other material that:

  • Neither the Operator nor the Publisher is obliged to publish, retain, or respond to any comment. The fact that a comment is published does not mean that it has been verified, endorsed, or approved by the Operator or the Publisher.

6.6. Responsibility for comments

Users remain solely responsible for their comments and any consequences arising from them. Comments reflect the views of the relevant user only and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Publisher, the Operator, their employees, contributors, or affiliates.

6.7. Licence to use comments

  • By submitting a comment, you grant the Publisher and the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, display, format, adapt where reasonably necessary for technical or editorial presentation, distribute, and otherwise use the comment in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Website and its services.
  • This licence ends when the comment is deleted from the Website, except to the extent that retention is necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, abuse prevention, or backup and archival purposes.

7. Third-party links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. Neither the Operator nor the Publisher endorses or is responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party website.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
